Project Team

We wanted to introduce you to the team which will be developing the project stated on this site, with the help of the University of Hertfordshire and our colleagues. We hope to produce a high quality project which will help us to learn about the creation of websites and maintaining them.

Ben Fogle
I am normally a project leader, but for this project I was chosen to lead the development of the software. I have learnt a lot about team work and how to cope with deadlines during the course of the project. As the project leader I was required to make sure my team was up to date with progress and take any issues with implementation which they had and deal with them as appropriately as possible.

Eric Long
My role in the project was mainly to write the code, though we all had input in code writing. During the discussions we felt we would upload the finished game to a website, which meant one of my main aims was to make sure it was all functional and clean. Throughout the project we did have some difficulties in some of the functions but we did manage to produce the game we wanted to with all functions you would expect.

Sarah Marsh
Working with 2 lads was great fun, we had a great time discussing how we were going to implement the poker game and the extra incentive of having it put online helped our motivation. My role in the team was to design the overall games look and explain to Eric how everything should work. In our team meetings if we had to come together it wasn’t a problem, and we all helped each other out to achieve the final product.
If you like our poker game and code offered, please donate a little spare change to UNICEF Put It Right
